x402scan Supplemental Terms and Privacy Notes

This supplement applies to x402scan. It is intended to be read together with the Merit Systems Terms of Service and Merit Systems Privacy Policy. If this supplement conflicts with the umbrella documents, this supplement controls for x402scan.

1. x402scan Service Description

x402scan is a discovery, registry, analytics, and transaction interface for paid resources and related ecosystem activity. It may include listings, search, registration, analytics, wallet-connected purchases, embedded wallet features, invite redemption, and related tooling.

2. Listings and Discovery Are Not Vetting

Resource registration and listing may be permissionless. Resource listings, discovery results, labels, analytics, rankings, tags, and registration status do not mean that Merit has vetted, certified, approved, endorsed, monitored, insured, or guaranteed any listed resource.

3. Registration and Auto-Registration

x402scan may allow manual registration, auto-registration, and discovery-based ingestion of resource metadata. Merit may add, remove, modify, delist, suppress, relabel, or ignore any listing at any time, for any reason, and has no duty to verify listing accuracy.

4. Wallets, Embedded Wallets, and Onramps

x402scan may support embedded wallets, connected wallets, payment flows, and onramp features offered or enabled by third parties. Merit does not guarantee the availability or success of any wallet, onramp, payment, or blockchain action.

5. Counterparty Risk

If you use x402scan to find, evaluate, or pay for a resource, the transaction risk is yours. Merit is not a party to the underlying resource transaction and is not responsible for the resource provider’s truthfulness, legality, performance, or delivery.
